Soundnoodle’s “BARRIOS” Wins CLIO Music Award
NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Soundnoodle’s “BARRIOS” running mix, developed for the NIKE We Run Mexico campaign, has won a Bronze award in the 2014 Inaugural CLIO Music medium.
The “BARRIOS” mix earned the Bronze CLIO Music Award for its use of Original Music in Innovative Media. Innovative Media includes work that utilizes advertising and marketing in a new, unique or especially creative manner. “BARRIOS” consisted of unique running anthems inspired by the neighborhoods of Mexico City. Soundnoodle created six original themes, tailored specifically to the six most represented neighborhoods of NIKE’s campaign.
The CLIO Awards launched CLIO Music, the newest addition to the global awards program, in its milestone 55th anniversary year. CLIO Music recognizes work that pushes creative boundaries and demonstrates ahead-of-the-curve thinking in music, including artist self-promotion, music marketing and brand collaborations as well as the use of music in advertising campaigns.
